Andie's Cafe

Shopping, baseball and a car wash—what more can you ask for? How about a great burger to top it off? Andie’s Café in Napa is at, of all places, a car wash. Oddly enough it is the perfect location—across the street from Little League fields and just down the road from the Napa Premium Outlets—making this burger joint a delicious ending, or beginning, to a day of shopping or playing ball, or just something to cut the hunger while you wait for your car to get clean. That was exactly what my husband and I did after some window-shopping at the outlets on a weekday evening. I ordered the cheeseburger combo, which includes fresh and tasty fries and a medium soda. My husband ordered the Blue Cheese burger and fries. We shared the drink and we should have shared the fries—one order is more than enough for two (the same holds true for the onion rings).
It did take longer than we are accustomed to for a fast-food order to arrive, but for burgers stacked with crisp lettuce, sweet red tomato and meat cooked to perfection on a soft potato bread bun, it was well worth the short wait and the tab was a very reasonable $20.86. Besides, this is not your average fast-food eatery, with burger names like the Monterey, the Marin and Andie’s signature burger. Add in their chicken dishes and breakfast sandwiches and there is something to satisfy everyone’s hunger.
Andie’s Café, 1042 Freeway Drive, Napa (707) 259-1107.
